Indicted as pedophile.
If there's one known victim, there's probably more. Under the law, he's innocent until proven guilty, but this is really creepy if true. He should have hauled himself into therapy before opting to traumatize a young child for years and hurting/betraying so many others indirectly.

I strongly doubt he made up the attack - but if he did, he needs serious help, should publicly apologize for evoking polarizing politics, and should be sued for potentially helping to put away two innocent people and diverting police and prosecutors from attention to real crime.
If he was attacked, his attackers should be indicted, and Smollet is owed huge apology by many.
I think we need an unbiased, federal special prosecutor investigation to establish facts and review the local investigation and decision to drop the charges.

The guys DNA is o the letter he wrote that he said was sent to him. You're unhinged when not getting a reply at a speed and POV that suits you. 3 posts since my last reply, plus a PM.
I've been busy and don't really care to spend a lot of time on this - I've already spent a whole lot more than I care to. I don't have a vested interest in a battle with you. My thread was about John Wettland, a former Yankees pitcher indicted for a very serious and disturbing crime, and then you diverted into Jussie Smollett, and now Al Sharpton and Twana Brawley none of which even belongs on the New York Yankees board.
Furthermore, you're exhibiting a lot of rage, political rage, and personal attacks, and then send a link from Trump MAGA YouTube account for me to click. I'm not clicking on that. I don't trust the source of that video to be undoctored, but have been trying to find a politically neutral source of that press conference or even a transcript. Search engines keep coming up with articles on Foxx after the charges were dismissed. She says she wasn't exonerating him, but didn't think she had the evidence to convict, nor handled this differently than any other class 4 Felony indictment of first time offender.
I don't trust Chicago Police nor the outgoing mayor. Neither have good reputation. I'm neither for or against Foxx. She welcomes the investigation of her decision to drop the charges, and so do I.
I haven't changed my position on Smollett who continues to claim innocence and there's a bunch of evidence that raises extensive reasonable doubt. He's being sued now for not paying the cost of the investigation. Now we will wait and see how Smollett and his attorney respond.
How you respond next is up to you.

The source of the video comes from a card carrying Trump MAGA supporter with a 27K following with a screen name called "POTUS TRUMP MAGA." I can't trust that video to be an undoctored version of Foxx's press conference outlining the evidence which she later dismissed (the indictment) for among other things, a lack of evidence to convict as she later stated.
I have no problem listening to her press conference, or reading the transcript if it comes from a neutral, trusted established source.
And BTW, I'm a centrist who believes both parties should work together in compromise, so lighten up. I can't stand the extremes of either party. Your rage blinds you with assumptions.
