Rangers got out to a fast start, but after spending most of the remaining 1st period in the penalty box, fall asleep in the 2nd to let the Wild come back with 2 goals. Good to see Lavy take that time out when he did. Hopefully it woke them up.

Thankfully the wild missed a bunch of chances or this would be a 6-3 game , rangers collapsing to low leaving points wide open number of players need to step it up the remainder of the game

Game Observations 1) I don't know if one point was good or bad. 2) They were playing great until the penalties in the first period. 3) Quick played very well again. Tough break on the shootout goal that went in off of his backside.

Certainly wasn't one of their better games after the 1st 10 minutes. Thankfully they at least tied it up to get it to overtime. Rangers need to draft some centers. I realize Brodzinski works hard, but he's a career AHL'er. Not many centers behind him worth bringing up. Unfortunately, Othmann and Perrault are wingers. Do the Rangers have any promising college prospects that are centers? I can't remember.

Jones and Braydon were terrible. I lost count how many times Jones was stripped of the puck behind the net and Schneids couldn't connect on a break out pass to save his life. There was one play where Jones lost his stick and Braydon had the puck, but he didn't know what to do with it. He knew his partner lost his stick, but instead of getting it down the ice he tried to finesse the puck to another player. Doesn't work and the rangers spent another 30 seconds in their own end.

Did Harper clear waivers or did someone grab him?

Jones is not a reliable defenseman. Too small, not physical enough, and just not an NHL-caliber defensemen. Yes I realize he's been sitting for the past several games and it might be unfair to judge his performance after sitting for so long, but I'm considering his past performances as well. He doesn't impress me at all and I look at him as a player who will eventually be trade bait.

Think they need to take a strong look at some players that maybe we can get some assets for , Jones is one of them , lafrainere and kakko still might hold some value im not sold on these guys at all get rid of them while they can

I actually like the way Laffy's game is progressing. He's fun to watch when he's creating out there.
KK on the other hand is struggling. He's thinking way too much out there.

I don’t know I really just don’t see anything special about either of them there just out there specifically kakko , laffy once in a while has a nice move or pass but it’s just not enough
