Lavilotte needs to send a message quick weather it’s demoting guys or just flat out benching them

Game Observations 1) Since the first game in Buffalo their play has worsened. 2) I see nothing in their style of play and intensity that is different from last year. They signed older and slower free agents. 3) The upcoming road trip could be ugly and set them back for playoff points early in the season.

NOBODY expects a team to win every game of the season, not even die-hards.
But all we care about is the EFFORT and WILL TO BATTLE and the WILL the WIN, win or lose.
This team is lame.
Good luck, Peter.

Ugly all the way around.
Is Miller poised enough on the PP?

Players like Matthew Tkachuk came into this league as a kid and wreaked havoc on the ice from game one of his career. I'll save y'all from reading another long-winded rant from me and so I'll just say this:
There's something about having those kinds of players if you want to win.
The Rangers have a long way to go. They're still playing the one-note game. That's just not going to work, as displayed tonight against Nashville.

The fact that the MSG hype-machine and the soft-ball media have come into this season talking about winning the Cup, is laughably ridiculous. Again, I have to remind myself that this team is run as a business to generate money, while the QUALITY OF HOCKEY and ACTUALLY WINNING is apparently secondary.
Yes, it's ALL BUSINESS. Of course....but as many of us have been saying for too long, if they turned that around and focused on collecting the best and most well-rounded players to win hockey games and entertain the fans, business would be even better. But they are too stupid to even consider that possibility.
The 4th game of the season and this team had ZERO MOJO in front of over 18,000 paying fans at MSG. Wow.

Plenty of blame to go around in this game. The Rangers were flat and Igor couldn't bail them out this time. And in case anyone is interested, Laffy was a -2 tonight and has had ZERO shots on goal the last two games. He scored the opening goal the first game of the season and he hasn't had a point since. Just saying.

I think we can all assume at least at this point barring some kind of miracle or sudden awakening, Laffy is just going to be an average player at best from what we have seen

I think we can all assume at least at this point barring some kind of miracle or sudden awakening, Laffy is just going to be an average player at best from what we have seen And that's exactly what he is, an average player at best. There is nothing dynamic about him or his skill set. Just look at the other recent first overall picks in Jack Hughes, Connor Bedard, and Connor McDavid. Those are dynamic players with elite skills and they have shown it right out of the gate. Not Laffy, because he is not among them. Not even close.
