Well that was a bit of a fucked up first period. I gotta tell ya, I'm getting really sick and tired of these coaches challenges for offsides. And no, I'm not just saying that because we had two goals disallowed. I've never like it. It's ticky tack. Get rid of it and get rid of the shootout.

The Rangers are also taking a ton of hard hits, but themselves are playing a very passive game in that regard - with only a few exceptions.
Again I will say that Zac Jones should NOT be in the big show, as he simply DOES NOT have the strength nor spirit to outmuscle anyone.
Perhaps players like Adam Fox have the hockey IQ to make up for that, but very few do.
Why Jones is playing against a very physical Columbus team is beyond my comprehension.

Laviolette can only do so much with the roster he's given. It seems these Ranger players have no answer to those teams who choose to play a hard physical game. That's the Rangers' cryptonite, as far as I'm concerned.
