Aside from Igor, there is plenty of blame to go around for the Rangers first round ouster. The veteran players were supposed to lead the way and they didn't. I put Breadman at the top of the blame list because this is the second year in a row he has been a no-show in the playoffs. That is unacceptable on every level and I would be looking to trade his ass because of it. Unfortunately he has a no-move clause, so he could tell Drury to pound sand with such a request. I don't want Kane back. I'm iffy on Tarasenko. The one thing that became clear after the Rangers quick exit is that they are not as good as we were lead to believe. The playoffs exposes the pretenders from the contenders, and the Rangers fell into the former category. The Rangers have a cap squeeze and they need to free up space and do it the right way, which means we can't be stupid and short-sighted about things. Drury has his work cut out for him.
