Can we finally put to bed the notion that it's the coaches fault?! These bunch of overpaid assholes are just a bad mix of players. They all play one way hockey. It's fucking boring.

This team is built to make the Playoffs....not win the Playoffs.
They had a good idea a couple of years ago but couldn't stick with it. They had to go out and pick up Kane and, to a certain extent, Tarasenko. They were playing better before those two were dumped into the mix.
They never learn.
It's been fun boys.

Game Observations
1) Now we know which team showed up. It was obvious to see what team wanted it more.
2) In six games they couldn't figure out how to slow the Devils from breaking into their zone with little resistance. 3) First goal was a perfect example of their shortcomings. Fox tries to make a short fancy pass instead of clearing the zone. Devils get the puck, and three Rangers poke check, slide on the ice, and avoid any contact.
4) Rangers put on a good show during the regular season, but that doesn't cut in the playoffs.

Rangers always play the game the other team is playing or try anyway devils arnt a physical team rangers should have come out with physicality every game, watching the panthers play there balls off every game we are far away from that type of commitment from our team , back to the drawing board

Rangers have some decisions to make Big ones for sure. If I was Drury I'd seriously consider shopping a couple of the high contracts, shake up the core and don't bring neither Kane or Tarasenko. Not sure what to do with Kakko or Laffy, but changes need to be made. |

Kakko and laffy really need to take a leap forward next season there kinda just neutral havnt regressed but haven’t really gotten that much better either minus some flashes here and there

The Rangers deserved to lose that game. Not even one goal tonight, huh boys? Game 7 and we get goose-egged again by a rookie goalie. Highlight of the game for the Rangers was when Trouba blew up Meier. Igor is the only Ranger who showed up for every game in this series. Can't say that about the rest of the team. Panarin has been a no-show for two straight post seasons now. I would trade his sorry ass in the offseason if I was Drury. There is no way I bring back Kane next season. He looked slow and overmatched for most of the series. I don't know what to do with Tarasenko, but I would lean toward not bringing him back either. Very disappointed in the play of Laffy and Kakko. We needed them to step up and they didn't. Same can be said for Chytil. Fox and Miller weren't good either. I can't give Gallant a pass here either. He's the coach of the team and he bears some responsibility as well. Rangers had better make some changes, that's all I have to say.

It's 2-0 and Trouba goes out of his way to crush Timo. This was a hit to jack up the team and give some payback for some prior shet Meier caused. Not one Devil came to confront Trouba. Not one. I give credit to Jacob. We lost a ton of one on one battles, but rarely from him. Then Igor has his feet taken out from underneath him by accident and Miller goes to the corner to rough up Hischier a bit and gets a penalty when we're down 2-0 in the third period. Seriously, what satisfaction can you get from Miller for sticking up for his teammate in a game 7 down 2-0. Miller, who can't hurt a fly, but hurt his team by being stupid. There is a time for payback. The Devils understood that better than we did.

I never believed that this team was going anywhere this year after the first month of the season.
Last year was their prize for the rebuild and this year forward is all the decline years.
This team would not know how to rebuild even if they had a first and second overall draft pick.
Most team when they pick up high picks like that, they build their team around the. Not the Rangers, make them fixtures on the 3rd and 4th line and tell them when they score 60+ points consistently, we might consider giving you a shift on the second line.
I don't think Huges would be as far along with the devils if he were relegated to the third line and stuck there unless he leads the team in all categories.
This team sucks and most importantly, this organization absolutely sucks.
It is obviously a business, but the Rangers make it clear as day the only reward they will give their customers is a collection of Allstars.
For those looking to be rewarded with a championship team, you best be following a different team.

Do you think the New York Rangers have any problems selling tickets at MSG? The teams that advance will be teams that need to keep their fan base, Seattle, Florida and ? New Jersey. I’m not defending the poor play of the Rangers in last night’s game, it is inexcusable and depressing. Also we should give credits to New Jersey who played great and poised. They are fast, exciting and well coached. Since the Rangers fans will just bitch for the summer and come next season, MSG will be packed again, we can only win the cup every 54 years!
