Well you could see this coming from a mile away. I thought it was funny that the beat writers in New York were anointing them Stanley Cup champs after getting Kane. Yeah, right. This team is gonna skill their way right out of the playoffs. Gallant has lost the pulse of this team if he really believes what he says in public. Even if they do by some miracle comeback to beat the Devils they ain’t gonna go far. They’ll get worn out by the end like last year, because it seems like every series they play has got to go seven. Gallant’s lack of adjustments are troubling as well. He’s Vigneault 2.0. I hope they make some big changes in the offseason, and get rid of a “star” or two, and actually build a legit team.

The rangers best looking PP in 3 games was their first one in game 5. Mika was set up where he could unleash his one timers. What happened during the others? They put him in the bumper position. In the meanwhile, we watch Kane, Bread, and Fox play catch with one another and get nothing accomplished. Why did they move him back to the bumper where he is virtually invisible? Get Kane off the first PP and put Tarasenko there instead. The second unit doesn't have a legitimate puck carrier to enter. That could be Kane.
