I hated it at first but coming around. I would go after Rosen in Arizona, offering a 2nd and maybe the 3rd they just got back from Cle. I would not move a 1st for him.
Use the two 1st rounders on defense.

All I know is Gettleman better have a plan to use his draft picks to get Dwayne Haskins. He passed up a QB and took Barkley last season. I love Barkley. If Gettleman does not get a QB (hopefully Haskins) Fire his ass. This getting rid of OBJ, better be a master plan by the GM.
So I will wait to see his plan.

He's not injured. And don't believe anything in that report. Casserly is a moron. He was the one who was trashing Murray only to refute his own reporting a few days later. UCLA and Arizona teammates only give Rosen great reviews.

If they are using those picks to trade up, it's an awful deal they just made. Like I said, I want Rosen. I don't mind Daniel Jones from Duke too at 17. Or tank again, and wait for the much better QB group next year.

But Giants did get the best pick in the draft with Barkley. If we can get Rosen, I am all for it. I will take him over any of the QB's in the draft this season.

I too like Rosen more than any of these QBs in this year's draft. Few other thoughts...Rosen was a 3 year started for UCLA under Jim Mora. He ran a pro-style offense and could step in this year if/when Eli Struggles. Haskins only started 1 year at Ohio State and ran Ubran Meyer's offense, which is not pro-style. He probably needs to sit and learn for just 1 year before taking over a NFL team. Rosen also plays very similarily to Eli's style, so that'd be a great mentorship. I'm not anti-Haskins, I just prefer Rosen of the two.

The Giants have 8 whole wins over the past 2 seasons Padrino, so what do they really have to lose by trading him? They can build around Barkley and draft a QB that can run faster than an 8 second 40 so he can buy himself a little time, and maybe draft some O line that know how to block. As they were, they were just going to win 4 to 6 games again next season. Well like I said its done, so I am hoping for the best. Maybe they can use those draft picks to trade up for a top QB in the draft. They must look for the future QB now. What's your feelings about losing Collns? Good run stopper but suspect in pass coverage, so that's a lot of money for him I think. IMO, the Giants biggest need is an O-line that can block worth a shit. If they had a good O-line, Barkley would be close to unstoppable and even an average QB could leverage that in the play action game. I'm a big believer that the big men up front, on both sides of the ball, are the key to winning. If you control the line of scrimmage, you win games.

The guard they got from Cleveland last year, Zeitler, is a good one. RT could use an upgrade, maybe they address in the draft. But the line is already better on paper than last year. They also played better as the year went on. A lot of new faces, they need some time to learn how to play w one another.

IMO they are a long way from a good O-line and being able to control the line of scrimmage. They have a potential super star at RB and they should build a great O-line in front of him. If they do, that offense will score lots of points for many years to come no matter who the QB is. Just my opinion mind you.

Barkley who had a super rookie year with a shit offensive line, could you imagine what he would do with a good offensive line. Did you know that Barkley's uncle was one hell of of a professional Champioship fighter. I am a big time boxing fan. Growing up, my father, took me to fights all the time. I saw Both Rocky's win championships live. Rocky Marciano and Rocky Graziano. Did some boxing myself as a young teenager, in the Department of parks. Wanted to go in the golden gloves but got hurt playing Hockey. Anyway enough about me. Barkley's uncle is Iran Barkley. He held world championships in three weight classes, including the WBC middleweight title from 1988 to 1989, the IBF super middleweight title from 1992 to 1993, and the WBA light heavyweight title in 1992. Just thought I would mention this.

What a fucking war. Duran won the fight and took belt from Barkley.

Granted he was a naturally bigger man than Hearns, but still, to beat Tommy Hearns you had to be one tough mother fucker. Hearns vs Hagler was an awesome fight too. How Hagler was able to take those shots from Hearns and not go down was amazing.
