I am so sick of this guy and his selfish attitude, idiotic mouth, and his obvious lack of character. He's basically another Terrell Owens who's talent doesn't make up for the unnecessary drama he causes. He's one of these "it's all about me" assholes and when things aren't going well, the aforementioned lack of character will always show itself as he has done. He's a clubhouse cancer and the Giants should have traded his punk ass instead of giving him a long term contract. They are already seeing what a huge mistake that was. Players like him always end up being more trouble than they're worth.

But I am not happy with all these Ads Holes in football, hot dogging a simple tackle, or catch. Its their Fuck Job. And that's what they get paid for. OBJ,is without a doubt the best in the game at his position. How can you let him go. ? But right now the Giants have more problems then OBJ.

That said, Beckham makes them worse with the flapping of his gums and his selfish idiotic behavior. As I said before, a player's character always shows itself when things aren't going well and Beckham loves to let the world know that he's unhappy. Just like Terrell Owens. Sorry, but I'll take a team of players with less talent and more character than players with more talent and who are lacking in character. And the thing with Beckham is that he is not an island unto himself (although he thinks he is.) His drama, complaining, and shit-talking to the media pollutes the entire team and it makes things that much worse. I don't care if he's capable of making the occasional highlight reel catch, he is not a player I want on my team. The Giants should have gotten as much as they could get for him in the offseason and let his shit attitude be someone else's problem. And I disgree that Beckham is the best receiver in the game. There are other receivers that I would love to have besides him who don't come with the diva drama.

Well RR, You make alot if valid points, that are hard to argue with, except for one point. I don't think, there is any one in the NFL better then OBJ.
One thing is for sure, its time for Eli, and the Giants to realize his days are in the past. Yes he still, has that quality of being tough in the 2 min drill at the end of games, but football is not a 2 minute game. 5 games into the season and no TD for OBJ. Something is not working at QB.This has to be Eli's last season.

The Giants are a joke and the entire organization has become a joke and have no clue how to run a football team. All they are concerned with is keeping the gravy train rolling that has been spoon feeding them from birth. Robert Tisch and Wellington Mara are probably rolling over in their graves. Signing this shithead for a 100 million and extending Eli alone proves what idiots they are. Then they draft a possible future star in a running back and they don't do nothing with the front line.
Odell can cry all he wants but he ain't getting it done either and all the other top players in the game are. He proved 2 years ago that anyone can get inside his head and in the NFL that is the kiss of death. He has made several highlight reel catches but he has not done shit in the league as of yet to garner half the attention he gets. He has no records, No Titles and now he is not even trying but somehow he gets all the spotlight.
I don't get it with him and all I see is a trick catch performer more then I see a NFL wide receiver.

Good points, and aboard jingles. I agree with your point,of Wellington and Bob Tisch. I also agree the money OBJ is obscene. That's the nature and market value today for most all athletes. But we will just have to agree to disagree about OBJ's talent. He definitely needs a Bill Parcells on the sidelines to straighten his ass out

He definitely needs a Bill Parcells on the sidelines to straighten his ass out He has a 100 million reason already in place to keep his ass straight. If he needs more then that then he needs to go and is incapable. Once someone willingly gives you that kind of money and you accept it you should be already prepared and equipped to handle what ever comes your way and ready to answer the call to duty. The size of his contract overrides and supersedes all excuses and all the responsibilities to perform and conduct himself as a professional is 100% on him. I stand by my comments about him being "a trick catch performer more then I see a NFL wide receiver" Because even when he practices he is always trying to do exaggerated one handed grabs. Everything he does goes against the logic of all the fundamentals taught to every football player and especially a wide receiver. I don't anticipate him being a Giant for the duration of his contract and I don't see him having a long career. He is as they say, "A flash in the pan". He got his payday and his true self comes out. Sorry this team has too long and too rich of a history to have that Zoo Animal on the field embarrassing the good name and jersey.

And he just made the Browns, a favorite to win their division. And be a contender to go all the way. OBJ,and Collins all in one week. I hope the Giants have a plan for this. They better have a plan in the draft to get a top pick QB.

RR is right about Beckham, he is a cancer to a team the same way Terrell Owens was and when the going gets tough, you can't count on him to get going. Best move the Giants have made in a while. Give Beckham about half a season of getting his ass kicked in Cleveland until he starts whining in public about that organization.

But you are under estimating his great talent. This guy is the best receiver in the game today, and could be up there with the best ever. What he needed with the Giants was a head coach like Bill Parcells to straighten his ass out. I blame management and the head coaches for his problem. They basically kissed his ass and let him get away with too much shit on the field of play. His best friend is on the Browns Jarvis Landry, who will keep him in line and with a QB like Mayfield, you 6will see how great this guy is and will be. This is HUGE for the Browns.

Padrino, his talent isn't in question. Terrell Owens was as talented a receiver as almost any in history but his negative influence and attitude hurt every team he ever played for, and I see OBJ as the same type player. Yes, he has amazing talent and can make some great plays, and help his team win a game here and there, but in the long run, his negative and selfish attitude will come out, no matter who he is surrounded by. It's simply his nature.

He opened up the field just with his presence he was always double teamed and that left another man open. Yes I had a problem with obj, but I had more of a problem with giant management and head coach letting him get away with this shit on the field without disciplining him. I never seen any head coach on the Giants during the game calling him out and chewing his ass out in front of the team and the fans. Management is to blame for that. But it's done and it's over let's see what they do. But why the hell did the GM give him this BIG CONTRACT, and then trade him? Makes no sense to me.

The Giants have 8 whole wins over the past 2 seasons Padrino, so what do they really have to lose by trading him? They can build around Barkley and draft a QB that can run faster than an 8 second 40 so he can buy himself a little time, and maybe draft some O line that know how to block. As they were, they were just going to win 4 to 6 games again next season.

Maybe they can use those draft picks to trade up for a top QB in the draft. They must look for the future QB now. What's your feelings about losing Collns?
