I guess we found out what the limits were on a thread. After 45 pages and countless posts the data storage for that thread is at it's capacity.
I didn't know there were any limits, but I guess everyday we find out something new.
So we can continue the Around the NHL talk here. Ever since RZ started it way back when and NoMore kept is going by starting a new one I think it has become a staple on the forum.
I guess moving forward if we can limit the around the NHL thread to NHL news and teams that don't pertain to the NY Rangers that may help limit the clutter.

Well, Nomores boy Ryan Graves is now a Devil. I thought he was doing great in Colorado? I guess we will find out if he is that good or if his play was the product of being on a good team. I know he did some stupid shit that hurt them in the playoffs. |

I think in the end they traded him because they could not protect him from the draft for the Kraken so they decided to get something in return. |

That’s absolutely correct. Graves was a guy they could not protect and instead of losing him for nothing, they get a second rounder. Also, Colorado has to resign a bunch of their own guys so 3 mil in cap space goes quite a long way. Graves was very good in 2019-20 but struggled last season and was not good Vs Vegas but the Devils got a big d man that still has upside. He moves pretty well and has a decent shot. Certainly will be top 4 there right away.

Rangers have re-signed Julian Gauthier to a 1-year deal. Good. Let's just hope that Gallant gives this kid the playing time that he deserves to show what he can do.

For a guy that is big and strong from spending a lot of time in the weight room, I would have expected a lot more physicality and nastiness from Gauthier. Perhaps playing for Gallant and gaining confidence from getting regular playing time will bring a more physical element to Gauthier's game. We shall see. |

I hope the Rangers keep him, but there is a possibility they signed him to this deal so they can expose him in the expansion draft. I certainly hope it's Howden and Rooney they expose and keep Gauthier. |
