Zach Wilson was a given but Douglas cleverly managed to move up to #14 in round one to grab the best darn Guard in the entire draft (6'4" 308 lb Ahlija Vera Tucker). It is imperative Joe does everything possible to protect our new Leader and Tucker is a good start. Surrendering our two 3rd rounders by moving up 9 spots, our next pick is 2nd round #34. Should OT/G Teven Jenkins slide into our lap at that point its check mate for our GM! I'm a firm believer its best to build your team from inside out. Having the opportunity to steal a talent such as Jenkins puts 'The Storm'n Mormon' in the best position to 'drive' his team to victory. If Jenkins is not there at #34 its a good bet Center Creed Humphrey will be. That would allow a Conner McGovern move to guard possibly strengthening two positions.
So we're left with 2 fourth rounders(107,143),2 fifth rounders(146,154) and 2 sixth rounders(186,226). The CB stock will hardly be bare. The same applies to RB's. Keep an eye on silky smooth BYU WR Dax Milne. If he falls thru the cracks and lands in the UDFA heap Joe should be all over him! Zach's other mates WR Gunner Romney(Any relation to Mitt/George?) and TE Isaac Rex are players also. They're all sure handed with sneaky speed and have a true 'connection' with 'The Storm'n Mormon.'
Chuba Hubbard is perhaps the most undervalued RB and would be a steal in rounds 4-6. I just saw some clips of the 6'0" 210 multi talented Back. Ironically he's compared to both Miles Sanders and our own Tevin Coleman, but aside from his track speed,he's a power runner inside the tackles also.
In a perfect world I'd love me some Pat Freiermuth(the most complete TE ),but ya can't have everything!
Though it would be nice to find another Edge rusher in day 2-3 we might have one right under our nose in young Jet DE Kyle Phillips.
UPDATE: Day one is complete and I believe Teven Jenkins is still available. If the Jags pass at #33 he's in our grasp! Keep it goi'n Joe! You're in a zone!!!!
