That's a big key in today's game. Never seen so many guys coming down with these injuries.

Sanchez, 2 HRS in 2 games. Wonder if he can keep that up. At least he is making contact which is mroe than I can say for Hicks.
Kluber and Cole looked good in their starts. Curious to see how German does.

I still think it is too much weight lifting. Even Judge this year did less lifting and more stretching exercises. We shall see.

Time to move on from both Boone and Cashman.Sanchez too.Need a stopgap ss until Volpe is ready.Entire team philosophy of all or nothing ball doesnt work anymore.Need more diversity in the lineup.I hope Rizzo resigns, hes a gamer

Torres looks and plays better at second. Urshela is too slow to play ss. Rizzo is a giant step up over Voit at first. Which leaves LeMahieu at 3d and who knows what happens to Urshela. Judge and Stanton played well in the outfield. Gallo is a better fielder than hitter. Hicks? Who knows if he can ever stay healthy.
The biggest thing with this team is between their ears. Instead of hitting ground balls into the shift the lead off man in every inning should look to tap a ball to the open side. If a major league hitter cannot do that he should not be in the majors. They get 500 at bats a year. Once in a while they can take an easy single instead of trying to hit every fucking ball 450 feet. Get on base, get the pitcher into the stretch, build up his pitch count and put some pressure on the D. The Yanks made it too easy to play against them this year.

Seems like us fans have been saying this same thing for years. They dont want to play small ball and beat a shift, they want to play long ball and hit homers.Entire philosophy comes from the way Cashman poorly constructed this lineup to start the year.Time for him to go

If any team did that consistently for a couple of weeks that would be the end of the fucking shift. Every team has advance scouts. There are no surprises in baseball anymore.
But these guys are just stubborn.
