On not getting NE guard, but why come here when you can go to the next Franchise team. But like the Edge rusher from the Begals,Lions linebacker that is a playmaker. And Corey Davis, big wide out that can block, contest catch and run routes.A number 5 pick in the draft ahead of Jamel Adams.Watched his high lights, guy got some nice fakes to get open.

I can understand a players aversion to joining the Jets Organization at the current time. Douglas has no control over the lousy culture that has preceded him thus the difficulty attracting top tier names. I suspect that factored into Thuney's decision to sign with New England. Having said that our GM has done quite well in free agency thus far. If he fails to address the OL here and now its a good bet he'll do so in the draft.
I'm on board with his apparent focus on the age factor. He no doubt realizes he's in the midst of a tear down and re-build. Corey Davis(26),Jarrod Davis(26),Carl Lawson(25) and Justin Hardee(27) are on the cusp of their prime years. They all fill a need and hopefully could do so admirably. While at best Hardee may become an adequate fill in at CB he is amongst the elite as a special teams gunner and leader. Little is made of special teams contribution but judging from the field position the Jets have allowed opponents over the past decade players such as Hardee can make a difference.
In all probability there are things going on behind the scenes and Douglas is hardly finished upgrading before the draft. Stay tuned!

Will do Supe! His total QB pressures are off the charts. Its a good bet Douglas got himself a game changer. I like his penchant for acquiring young players on the rise with high ceilings. He evidently uses free agency to supplement the draft. The bricks of his rebuild is the draft while a sprinkling of free agents is the mortar. There remains the possibility he trades for Watson, but not at the expense of three first round picks.

Joe D.is crusing it.Love Tevin Coleman pick up along with the veteran edge rusher from the Eagles.Vinny Curry 32 yrs old but will be part of that rotation Saleh likes to use.Funny he doesn't look Italian. We are building up a Defense 49'r style

Evidently Saleh believes in depth. Hopefully quality meets quantity because he has plenty of the latter on the DL. I'd like tp see a promising RB,a couple of CB's,WR,OLB and concentration on the OL in the draft.
