Go get him!! I know I'm talk'n to the wall here, hearing nutt'n but an echo, but what the hell!!! Duclair is slowly but surely realizing his enormous talent proving to be a consistent 20 goal scorer for starters. His speed, hands and stick handling cry out for more. Should he become a linemate of Mat Barzal, they will become the fastest skating duo in the League. He just turned 25(playing the entire 2020-21 season at that age),merely scratching the surface of his ceiling.
The only question and it is a BIG one is Anthony's commitment to defense and playing within a team concept. It would behoove him to play under Barry Trotz if he wants to become a legit NHL player. Lou should conduct a lengthy interview and proactively pursue the kid if he impresses. Compared to other shiny objects available he'll come cheaply.

Duclairs biggest issue has always been inconsistency.1 game he looks like a future 40 goal scorer and he follows it up with a few games of you wondering if hes playing or not.If he can ever figure that out,he could turn into a real good 1..but thats a big question mark

His future definitely is a question mark. That is why he'd come cheaply. Thus the risk is low but reward mighty high. When I first saw him play during a pre-season game against the Isles he was a blur on the ice and dreaded the thought he'd scare the hell out of Islanders defenses in a Rangers Jersey for years to come. His talent and play left that much of an impression to this day. I couldn't have been more relieved when the Rangers sent him to the west coast(Coyotes). Should he finally settle and find his niche, some fortunate team will have found lightening in a bottle. Needless to say I want the team in Belmont to be the beneficiary. Are you reading this Lou? GO FOR IT!!!!
