One of the greatest Right handed pitchers in MLB.
If I had to pick the best right handed and left handed pitchers in MLB to be on my team, it would be Bob Gibson, and Sandy Koufax.
RIP Bob Gibson.
Ken Singleton tells a great story when he came up as a rookie with the Mets, and had to face Gibson for the first time, and as a Rookie, when to one of the Vets on the team and said, what should I expect from Gibson, and the Vet told him, kid if you hit it hard make sure you hit it fair. Singleton did not know what he meant by that.
So first pitch Kenny hits a hard line drive foul down the right field line. Next pitch Singleton was on his ASS, on the ground.
