Paul I am not trying to tell you what to do, but Dan created a complete separate Forum called Political Discussions on this site.
I don't think we should have any thread for politics on the Ranger Forum, it's defeating the purpose that Dan created, to avoid this.

Nice work Paul. So instead of replying to RR on the other thread I will take the lead and respond here.
Perfectly stated RR and I had to chuckle per that line where you said you vehemently disagreed. And to put my money where my mouth is, I will not fan the flames back.
Fellas, take it easy. Neggs and others will eventually come back. Give it time.

Out of respect for Paul, Tony and everyone else I copied this from the original thread and brought it over here to respect his wishes in order to reply one last time on this matter.
Listen Nomore, It really is getting old going back and forth with you. I know you live for this stuff being you have a long history of this. I am not the only person on this forum that you had a dust up with that is a fact. You on the otherhand are the only person I have had a dust up with. Both Times YOU initiated the insults, not me. I only responded in kind.
Regardless, it is not getting you or me anywhere and it is only causing people here to get disgusted. You obviously don't care because this problem still keeps happenening with you, But I do.
As for your buddy, I said nothing to him other then stating facts. He obviously could not deal with that and Double R was probably correct in his assessment because they are the only people that act that way.
To me packing up and publicly denouncing his membership here and throwing out the accusations he did shows the quality of his character. I could only laugh at his accusations of me because he has no clue as to what he is talking about. I don't know many racists that spend 20 hrs a week volunteering in a homeless shelter that serves mostly minority people.
I grew tired of his White hate comments that he was making for some time in his posts even before I got in. Even with that said, he was entitled to his own opinion but I have my right to express mine.
I think Double R hit the nail on the head in his post and it also touches on the main difference between the two sides in the arguement. One side can not accept it and move on and the other can.
Just like Double R I have many liberal friends and we bust each others balls till no end. It never gets in the way with our friendship and probably makes us all closer because we can talk about anything.
In the end I am just not going to get into it with you anymore. I am not going to take my ball and go home either. I will continue to post and keep it to the subject at hand what ever that may be. I am not putting anyone on ignore and if you post something I agree with or like I will reply with respect with no hidden or backhanded digs.
If you care to do so and hold a grudge that is your choice but I will not get involved in any more arguments with you or anyone else. There are not that many people posting here these days and a good portion of them that do have expressed their distaste for this.
So I am falling in line with the majority at this point.

Any of you ever go paint balling? I did a bunch of it 15-20 years ago. In fact, my brother lives in Madison WI and we went close to Milwaukee. Those WI boys take that sport seriously. We were all given rentals, while these guys had these high powered machines that could destroy you with their scopes and high speed velocity. I'm sure you are all aware that head gear is mandatory.

Well since it seems like no one wants to go on the political discussions forum that was created by the administrator of this website slapper, I will just copy and paste a thread
I create on that Forum and post it here. But I want go,on the record, that I still say we should not have a political thread on a Ranger forum. So I will just post this and that will be it for me, because I think this is disrespectful to Slappers request.
And on second thought, It would be hypocritical of me to post it here. So I will just leave it where IMO, it belongs, until Dan himself states its ok to have a political thread on,a Ranger Forum.
Sorry, but that's the way I feel. If I want to talk Politics, it will be on the Forum Slapper Created.

Nobody will ever read anything in there. We’re all big boys here. Capable of adult and civil conversations. I very seldom post Anything political here but the NHL took things to a place that really bothered me and I would hope to at least have the chance to discuss this with my guys here. It’s a separate thread and anybody can avoid it if they want to.

The NHL is looking past the type of person Blake as they should be. The excessive force is the issue here, not the type of person he is. Now if his conduct at that time warranted gunfire then the NHL shouldn't have stopped play.
