I'm just not into this abbreviated season at all with everything else going on in the world..Still pulling for the Yanks,but my excitement for a new season just isn't there sadly.

I understand where you are coming from,but I will take it for what it is. I am sick of watching classic sports from,previous years. I am looking forward to some live action. So I am looking forward to it. It's not the same as a full,season but its the best there is for now. |

Hi gang, first and foremost, hope all is well and safe with you and your families.
I don't care when or how they play, lets just play baseball live.
I can't watch anymore Yankee or NY Rangers Classics from the past anymore. PLAY BALL.
I was just watching ABC NEWS SPORTS. They were showing the Yankees practices. And then they said something kind of weird.
They said new rule for this season, if the ball is touched by more then 2 players, the ball will be thrown out of the game.
To me that means, unless the batter either walks strikes out, or hits a HR, the ball is out of the game.
First, two players are touching the ball by the pitcher and catcher right away, so if he hits the ball anywhere except back to the pitcher a 3rd player will have to touch the ball. They also said there will be no throwing the ball around the infield after and out.
Anyone know about this?
This is the first time I heard this.

They look like the team to beat in the AL.All players look in great shape.Stanton needs this kind of start he should have a good year,if he stays healthy.Good luck .
Dodgers look like the runaway fav in NL.My Mmets look like the walking wounded again.Oh well.If they take a knee tonight too Won't be following too closely .

All Rise, the Judge is holding court. What a start to the season. 6 HR's in 7 games. Yankes with the best record in MLB. Right now, they are doing this with just 1 real starter Gerrit Cole. I am worried about the starting rotation. But can't complain now. The offense is like the Bronx Bombers, and will get better when Sanchez and Torres get it going. |
