Slapper, do yourself and all of us a big favor and get rid of this Fucking political discussion board. It is nothing but a cancer.
We all have been one big Happy Rangers and Sports Family. We don't need this to destroy our long time frienships.
Politics and religion needs to stay off these boards. You worked too hard and too long to keep us all happy and together. The longer this forum stays on here the faster this cancer will spread.
I love ya man. And the entire gang. You don't need this and neither do we need to talk politics.

That is the reason why I created it Tony. To keep it over here and let those who participate reap what they sow. Now there is no reason for it to be anywhere else. I don't plan on participating on the forum and I never discuss politics as well as there is nothing I dislike more. I was raised that your political opinion was a private matter and need not be discussed and singularly means absolutely nothing. Rarely will people agree even within the same party and politics is designed to create grey areas and division. In the end none of the politicians give a fuck about anyone even their own constituents and they are all pawns to keep them in power.
It is funny how the same old cronies are in charge on both sides of the isle for half of my life but yet they feel none of it is their fault. And all of the lemmings defend them to no avail. It takes a pretty special kind of creepy to talk up everything you ever done in your life and whore yourself out for peoples votes as if you are the bees knees.
I am trying to break everything up into sections because by doing so is like creating a separate file for each forum. The reason being is the forum address is now permanent and if we ever change site hosts it will be easier to migrate all the posts with us. Forums change site hosts all the time for many reasons because of systems becoming obsolete or places with better features. With the last forum I lose all the posts because it was NYSportsboard/ZetaBoards.com. We did not own it so we can not take it. Now we own it and I am trying to think ahead to make migrations easier.
I was making the entertainment section anyway and I was also going to include the existing forum for announcements and news and maybe a Food/Cooking board for talking about game day feasts and anything special that people like.
So I figured the inaugural post in the general discussion started leaning political I would change the name from general talk to politics. I already moved the board into the new section and other then that change the name that was all that was done really.
It is also the beginning of silly season with the upcoming elections so I want to create a buffer so it does not get into the forums as everyone starts coming out of their summer slumbers because Hockey is not going on.

Ok, I understand. I too will, not participate in the political discussions. What started to just be a thread for some condolences, turned into politics.
I will say no more on the subject.
