Here we go with the first live sporting event in quite a while! Even if you don't like UFC you should hope this event is 100 times more successful than anticipated and goes off without a hitch. If it does the rest of the sports world is watching and they will soon follow. In light of what we know now it is time to get life back going for everyone. Here is the. WOW!!! Dan, seriously....that MAIN EVENT..... we knew Justin Gaethje was a beast, but nobody could've expected THAT kind of one-sided beat down like that on Tony. Did you? Holy shit!!!
What a stunning performance!
So many others, too. Kattar's stand-up against Stephens - Man that was great. Again, we know he's good but Jeremy's a fucking beast...so that win was very impressive to me, too.
What a night!!!

You are right Paul! I thought most of the fights met their expectations and then some. I thought they could have let Ferguson at least go down before they called it but I don't think it would have changed anything. Justin was a beast ! That TKO by Kattar was impressive. The way he moves and as calm as he is it don't seem like he is that quick and punches that hard but WOW! I hope this event opens up the flood gates. |

I hope you saw Khabib and Justin's fight today, Dan. WOW. Sorry I did not see your post sooner Paul. Yes I did and Khabib is just simply awesome! It is probably better for the UFC that he retires because nobody will ever beat him. He is just too complete and good and makes it look like a walk in the park. The guy don't even breathe heavy. I also love how humble he is and devoted he is to his family and friends. To be fair I really like Justin as well and even he knew going in that Khabib is just awesome and I loved the respect they shown for each other. I grew tired of the McGregor style mayhem leading up to a fight. Again, Sorry I missed your post. The activity on this board has been so low I stopped checking. But I will get back to it starting with the next round of fights and keep it more consistent. UFC seems to be doing very well in this environment and they are doing a great job at that keeping people safe and providing entertainment for the fans with no other agenda. I am starting to wane on sports and the UFC is definitely my new favorite right now. It is also one of the few sports you can not take your eye off of or you will miss it all |
