You make alot if good points Dan, and I admire your positive out look. I guess in some way I am in a bad mood. My Yankees got knocked ou last night, and I woke up,in a nasty mood. So after the Yankees today its my NY Giants and of. Course my number 1 team and sport, NY Rangers. Both playing same time today.Rangers losing 2 zip. Giants losing 14 zip. I think I will be watching the History Channel. Excuse me Rangers losing 3 zip on a short handed goal.

Our pitching stats were better then Houstons.pitching wasnt the problem.Hitting 6 for 35 with r.i.s.p was the problem.Too much bad situational hitting in key situations led by Sanchez and friends.Theres a lot of tough lineup decisions that need to be made this offseason

Our hitting kept us out of the game. Not 1 RBI for our DH in this series

Starting Rotation wise we were not that good. We had to use the crap out of our bullpen and as good as the bullpen is it takes away the element of surprise when the other team gets to see them often. If we had a true top tier Rotation that Bullpen would be unbeatable. We had Green as the Game 6 starter and he put us in a 3-0 hole instantly and I am still trying to get my head around the fact that he started in the first place. Happ should have been in there to start and things calmed down when he was put in and he did a much better job. In the end though I agree that we left too many runners on the bases and that cost us big time. I will also add that the Home plate umpire was horrendous last night and he made some real shit calls on both teams. If the Yankees were trying to get the Astros to make them hit the ball that plan got shot to hell when the strike zone got bigger. The way the ump called the came if it was close you had to swing. It did seem to me that he made more bad calls against the Yankees then he did the Astros.
