Really happy to see the Yankees get game one. Looks like Boone learned from his past mistakes and get's the Bullpen in there as soon as he can. Only makes sense to capitalize on one of the Deepest Pens in the Game. Game 2 Tonight! LET'S GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!

Very impressed with the yankees demeanor last night. They look focused and business like. Tanaka was a pure joy to watch. Watching pitchers throw 95-100 all the time makes you appreciate Tanaka's performance even more.

Yankees accompliced what they needed to do, and win game 1 at Houston. Took the Cockiness out of the team and their fans. Tanaka pitched like an ace in a clutch game. Now its time to show Verlander he is not unbeatable. We have seen Verlander many times, Tampa took it to him, now its Yankee Time. And it's pay back time. Good point on Boone, it was 3rd time around for Tanaka, and pitching a 1 hitter going into the 7th. This is what we got these guys in the bull pen for. Tanaka gave Yankees just what they wanted and needed. Tonight its up to Paxton to do the same. GO YANKEES!!!!!

Some of these young kids still amaze Me! Gleybor Torres is unreal and to think that he is only 22 and not the only great young player we have. We should be ensured quite a few years of quality Baseball from this Young Team.
I can only imagine the Damage this team could do if they had a true world class starting Rotation like they do with the rest of the Line up! Their Rotation is still good but I am sure they will be making some changes to it this offseason.
Verlander will be tough to beat but if they can get his pitch count up early and get it to the Astro Bullpen I am confident they will take Game 2. If they take Game 2 they will be hard to beat the rest of the way!

I said many times, if the Yankees had the Mets pitching they would be unbeatable, and if the Mets had the Yankees line up, they would be unbeatable. The Yankee line up is very scary. I would not be shocked if they sweep the Astros. But I will take a win in 7. I really feel its our time. I have to admit, I was not a Boone fan when he was hired. But I think this season, he Mgr of the year. And you have to give Cash credit. DJ, Gleyber, Gio. Luke Encarnación. And the most underrated player on the Yankees Brett Gardner

Sucks that they lost in Extras last night but to me it shows how the Astros with their best pitcher still struggled to beat the Yankees. I think they are lucky to be coming to the Stadium with the series tied!
Yankee Stadium will be rocking Tuesday!

Yankees did exactly what they had to do and win one of the 2 games at Houston, which gives the Yankees Home Field Advantage.

WOW! I would have never thought they would put out a stinker with the first game at home in the series. Well, They now made it the hard way and they better wake up or they will be watching the series from their homes!
Too many runners left on the bases and if they can not hit these pitchers they will not do any better against the Nats who have one of the better starting rotations in the league.

I also forgot to mention that I missed the game live because I had no clue the asshats that be started a playoff game while people are still working and living their lives.
This schedule is ridiculous and who ever put it together should be slapped right in front of their children!

Yankees had their chances, but couldn't get those clutch hits with men in scoring position. Sanchez once again was brutal with the bat and behind the plate. Behind the plate he has a strong arm, and that's it. He is too big and too slow, and can't move his body fast enough to block a low ball with his body. It won't happen but I would make a change and bench him,for Romine. They made Cole work hard, but couldn't get that big hit. Need to win the next 2 at home. And those 2 Fucking shit head Yankee haters, Buck and Smoltz are Ass Holes. Can't Stand Them.

This is getting ridiculous. Where the hell are the bats? Good pitching will always beat good hitting. Our lineup has too many all or nothing hitters-like Sanchez and Encarnacion.Houston is just better on both sides of the ball against us.

Yankees are not getting beat because the Astros have a better pitching rotation. We are getting beat with what is supposed to be the Yankees strength, their line up. Their offense has been MIA. Bases loaded twice, and not 1 hit, they only scored on a walk. It's getting late in the game, they better wake up fast. Our pitching has kept us in this game, our hitting is taking us out of the game. We need those clutch hits. Lets do this, and it better start in the Yankees next at bats. Yes Sanchez finally gets the long ball, but a little too late. Have to be realistic, its going to be very hard for the Yankees to win 3 straight. Very disappointing performance by the Yankees.
