As of today the Isles have $20.7mil buckeroos in Cap space. They desperately need another well established point maker. What better way to pay back the dastardly Maple Leafs who fitted lie'n John Tavares with a new pair of pajamas? Pay back is a bitch but adding 23 year old Center Mitch Marner to our team makes sense even at the expense of four years of 1st round draft picks. At worst Toronto would have to match a 9 or 10 per Cap strangling salary and sell off other important pieces to get it done.
